2007年”Mass”、2008年”Melchior”、”Balthazar”、”Casper”、2009年”amor et mors”、2010年”I’m praying”、2011年”Incarnatio”、2012年”Virgin”、2013年”The Doors of Perception”、2014年”Nativity”と、毎年リリースされてきたJINMOのクリスマス・アルバム。
今年は、非常に重厚なサイコ・アコースティック・アンビエントなオーケストレート作品になっています。
2015年10月10日から11月28日まで、銀座の若山美術館でおこなわれた特別展”JINMO抄：美の祝祭”。
会期後半から5階特別展示室で、音響作品として流されていた”交響曲：美の祝祭”。
たいへんな好評をいただき、4階エントランスでCDとして限定販売されておりましたが、完売。
買い逃された方々、遠隔地故に会場へお越しになれなかった方々のために、2015年度クリスマス・アルバム”The Celebration of Beauty”としてダウンロード・リリースが実現しました。
タイトルの”The Celebration of Beauty（美の祝祭）”とは現代美術評論家の小倉正史氏による命名で、JINMOの制作活動の特徴である美を生み出す時の”聖性”と、美を世に送り出す時の”儀式性”とを表しています。
『婚（くな）ぎ』をテーマにした“JINMO抄"に相応しく、"The Door of Perception"、"Extremus”、"Quasar APM 08279+5255”、"Jubilus Ultra"、"Ageha"といったJINMOのサイコ・アコースティック・アンビエントの代表的作品を婚（くな）いで、「太古と未来、極大と極小、体内と宇宙、生と死…」といった二極の無境同一性を、円相（禅画）のように表現した交響曲です。
若山美術館特別展"JINMO抄・美の祝祭”の開催を記念して、2015年11月に作曲されました。
心拍音、人の声のように聞こえる音も含め、ほとんどの音がギターによって演奏されています。
パンニングの効果、差音現象によるバイノーラル・ビーツをより楽しんでいただくためにも、是非、良質のヘッドホンでの御鑑賞をお薦めします。
